I haven't been here in years! To my surprise, the menu has expanded a lot since then. I came in craving clay pot rice, so I ordered the preserved meat ($11) and the portion size is HUGE! It's decently filled with a big heaping of meat, and it was served piping hot. Cravings were satisfied and I left with a happy belly.
Decent food, especially the duck. Also good are the congee, rice rolls, and beef chow fun. When you ask for the check, you get two chances to get triple one and you get your meal free. There are other chances like ordering the triple meat appetizer and getting sequence numbers (shown in the picture). So get your god of gambler game on!
01.25.2024@7:50p Walk in got seat for a table of 2. Friendly service. After order, food was quick to come out. The congee was too watery and the frog leg. The Chinese Broccoli with garlic was good, only complaint would be that it was thinly shedded so it seems like a huge plate. The preservative meat rice casserole was cook perfectly. A+ on its own creation of it spicy sauce.
Got the Special Combo Rice Casserole 金牌煲仔饭 which includes 黄鳝 (yellow eel), 臘味(Chinese sausage), 腊鸡 (preserved duck) to go for $13.50. I believe you can choose any 3 types of meat. If you want the casserole pot, it costs $4. The pot can serve 3 people and was very flavorful. Would definitely get this again!
